About this Blog Site

Hello, I am Darlene. My sweet husband and I have been happily married for almost 38 years as I write this. We have three wonderful children, each married to mates we love as our own. Between them, we have 11 grandchildren, counting one step granddaughter, who has a little son and daughter of her own now, and a new little step grandson.

I have long been a writer and author for God. A Christian for nearly 50 years, I love the study of His word and love to write out what He teaches me in our times together and to share His ways with others.

Though I have been published in magazines, I believe the new frontier is the WW Web, having potential to reach the world long past my days on earth. That is where I sense God’s call for my publications. Thus, with the blessing of my husband and the call of God in heart, begins Darlene’s Ponderings, as I seek to share with you thoughts from Scripture and from life in the hope of helping other God-seekers through Jesus Christ to know and live for Him with greater strength of character, hope and faith.

I pray that as you read these blogs and articles, you find yourself encouraged and strengthened to persevere and carry on to be all God designed and desired for you.

  2. Thank you for becoming a follower of Shadows of Love. It is an honor. I pray that it will be instrumental as you pursue your purpose of knowing God.

I have been a Christian for 40 years but only recently discovered the hidden jewel of the Experiencing God Bible study by Henry Blackaby. Perhaps you would enjoy it as well.
