Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”” – Matthew 28:18-20 NASB1995

Father, we are first called to “make disciples,” specifically teaching them to observe all that You command us. And when they believe You, we are told to baptize them in the name of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Baptism is important and not to be degraded. We make disciples and baptize them in Your name. That is our clear, undeniable call and instruction. Make us who are disciples of Your teachings and baptized into Your Name faithful to Your call. In Jesus, amen.
