Note to the Church

“Hear, O peoples, all of you; Listen, O earth and all it contains, And let the Lord God be a witness against you, The Lord from His holy temple. For behold, the Lord is coming forth from His place. He will come down and tread on the high places of the earth. The mountains will melt under Him And the valleys will be split, Like wax before the fire, Like water poured down a steep place. All this is for the rebellion of Jacob And for the sins of the house of Israel. …” – ‭‭Micah‬ ‭1:2-5‬ ‭NASB

Church, we are saved by grace through faith in Christ and spared the eternal death of separation from God, saved from being cast into eternal hell. Proof of this grace in us is seen as we turn from sin by the power of His Spirit, to bear the fruit of righteousness in likeness to Christ. And we are continually being perfected, as we, day by day, walk free of our sin nature and become more Christlike, choosing Him more and more. But we, as His people, are not spared from the consequences of sin in this life now.

The world – people who have not received Christ and who are the true “walking dead”, cannot be expected to recognize and walk free of sin, being separated from Him and without His Spirit to teach them what sin is. It is because of us, who know what sin is, but give ourselves to it anyway, or give harty approval of it by condoning sin as ok, that discipline of a nation comes.

By the power of God’s Spirit today, look at self first: where is God calling you personally to repentance? Once you have taken care of personal business with God, then look at the Church as a whole: where are we giving approval to sin? If you share the Name of God in Christ, repent. Perhaps God will have mercy on US again.

Pray for Afghanistan

Father God, the attack against Afghanistan and the Christians living there is an attack against You, and an attack against us who are one with them in Christ. I am furious over every evil going on that is doing it and allowing it.

You care for Your people more than we can fathom with all our caring. We see the pain in the earth, an enemy victory. You see eternal glory and angelic forces fighting the true enemy. We see flesh and blood men, women and children suffering at the hands of other humans. You see demonic forces at work and angelic forces set against them.

You tell us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. We see victims in an Afghanistan take over by Taliban. You see a Taliban taken over and defeated by an evil force that stands against all You deem good, right and true.

Father God, We take our stand with You for these under attack by hate and false understanding of You and Your ways. We take our stand against enemy forces of wickedness. Put the Sword of the Spirit, which is the very True and Righteous Word of our God, powerfully into our hands, and equip us to wield it with strength and accuracy at the enemy’s head as we stand with You against this evil. Send forth Your Angel Armies and show Yourself strong against all that is not of You. Be our True Victor! In Jesus, amen.

Praying FOR Our President

My husband and I pray every day, often several times a day, for our President and our country. It is our privilege and the best way we can influence our course. All who pray should be praying FOR our President, whether or not we agree with his political stance and ways. Prayer has nothing to do with politics. It has everything to do with Life, liberty, and security.

To pray for a president or anyone means to agree with God for His desire for them. Our President needs prayer to be a person of righteousness, truth, justice, and integrity. He needs wisdom, discernment, revelation, and clarity. We should pray that he is a God-fearing man who seeks after Him and His ways and seeks to lead our nation to be its best.

Where a potential impeachment is concerned, again we pray for truth, righteousness, justice, and integrity; for revelation, discernment, wisdom, and clarity. We also pray protection from every evil, injustice, harm, and injury.

To seek God for our President is to desire God’s greatest good for our country.

Proclaiming the Power of Unity

Proclaiming the Power of Unity

Ezekiel‬ ‭37:15-28‬ ‭NLT‬‬

As I read this passage this morning, I see clearly, God’s heart for these United States. He proclaims to my heart…

PEACE, UNITY, and WISDOM are POWER in GOD’S HANDS.

I see the pieces of wood and hear His call to place the words on the wood: 1 – “This represents Democrats and their allies.” And 2 – “This represents Republicans and their allies.” I hear the Lord proclaiming: “These United States in My hands: peaceful, unified, and powerful, with Me as their One Wisdom.”

I see the people of God throughout these United States, making their wood pieces with these markings, holding them up as one piece, proclaiming God’s sovereignty in our unity from now through the 2020 Vote, all the way to Inauguration Day (January 20, 2021).

Who will share this vision and answer the call to proclaim God’s power over all? Who will make their wooden pieces and hold them up as one with me?

Get your wood ready by December 1. Snap pics of each, and then as one. Post them as commitment to the call and begin lifting them up and proclaiming our unity, praying as God leads throughout this year of election. Get your church family, Bible study groups, and praying friends involved. Let’s see what our Lord will do.

PEACE, UNITY, and WISDOM are POWER, and it begins with God’s people placing all in GOD’S CAPABLE HANDS. Let’s do it as ONE PEOPLE UNDER GOD.
